Podcast: Susan Daffron and James Byrd, Self-Publisher's Online Conference

by Joel Friedlander on May 2, 2011 1 Comment

There’s just a week before the Self-Publisher’s Online Conference (SPOC) gets started with a bang with a presentation by the “Godfather of Self-Publishing” himself, Dan Poynter, speaking on “Book Publishing in 2011 and Beyond.”

I haven’t been to the earlier editions of the SPOC and I was curious to learn more about it. I caught up with Susan Daffron and James Byrd, creators and hosts of the SPOC a couple of days ago. Although they are in the final stages of preparation for the conference, they took time out to have a chat and answer some questions.

The interview runs 25:58 and is full of information about SPOC and what will be happening next week.

Here’s the podcast. You can listen to it right here, or download it to listen to at your convenience.

Thanks for the great write-up Joel! James and I wanted to let you and your readers know that we’ve extended the Early Bird rate, so people can still get in at the lowest price. Enjoy ;-)

Why?
"Writers change the world one reader at a time. But you can't change the world with a book that's still on your hard drive or in a box under your bed. This blog exists to help you get that book into people's hands."
