Since bringing our Contributing Writers on board, I’ve been amazed at the great content they continue to contribute here week after week.
And also amazed at the way readers have engaged with that content.
Now I’ve got another treat in store for you.
My friend and colleague, Lee Foster is joining The Book Designer as a Contributing Writer.
Lee has a long background in book publishing. He’s the author of 18 books, both traditionally published and self-published. Lee has long been a pioneer in using digital platforms to monetize his writing and photography work.
Lee was named Lowell Thomas Travel Journalist of the Year, Silver Winner, by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation. He has also won seven other individual Lowell Thomas awards for this content, and many of his articles have been published in national magazines.
In addition, Bay Area Travel Writers presented Lee with its special award, the Rebecca Bruns Award, to honor “Outstanding Achievement.”
Lee also hosts one of the best author websites you’ll see anywhere, highlighting his travel writing and photography. You can check it out here: Foster Travel
Lee has been an innovator in many aspects of publishing, especially electronic publishing, going all the way back to a content deal he made with CompuServe in 1983.
I can’t wait to see what Lee has in store for readers. But we won’t have to wait long, because his first post will go live tomorrow.
Stay tuned and help me welcome him to The Book Designer.
