This Week in the Blogs, December 3 – 9, 2020

Like it or lump it, the year is winding down, the holidays are gaining momentum and this strange strange year will soon be wrapping up. Among the many challenges posed by 2020, indie authors have had to be patient and creative in their quest for book promotion and sales. What have you learned as an indie author that will stick with you once things get back to “normal”? What have you learned that will stick with you on a personal level during this year of lessons and frustrations? If you’d like to share with us, please leave your thoughts in the comments.

You can submit your e-book cover to our e-Book Cover Design Awards contest for December until the end of the month. The post including December’s submissions will be published on the very last Monday of January, 2021. If you have questions about this contest, please leave them in the comments. (Missed last month’s contest? You can view it here: e-Book Cover Design Awards, October 2020.) Watch for November’s e-Book Cover Design Awards post here on December 28th.

We’re now accepting submissions for December’s Self-Publishing: Carnival of the Indies, our blog carnival until December 15th at midnight.

Enjoy the articles. Be well and stay safe! See you back here next Friday.

Why?
"Writers change the world one reader at a time. But you can't change the world with a book that's still on your hard drive or in a box under your bed. This blog exists to help you get that book into people's hands."
