It’s Martin Luther King Day here in the U.S., honoring the civil rights leader and legend. Some businesses stay open, some close, it’s a bit of a mixed bag.

But it has been a long winter already, so Jill and I have decided to take the day off and recharge.

We’ll be back with another article on Wednesday, and next Monday is our monthly installment of the Ebook Cover Design Awards. Some doozies this time, believe me.

In the meantime, here’s something that Dr. King said:

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”—Martin Luther King, Jr.

This says to me that it’s only by being open to engaging with challenges and controversies that I can find out “where I stand.”

Enjoy your day.
