We’re always happy to consider guest posts for The Book Designer. Our guest author guidelines can be found here.

We’d love to share your personal self-publishing experiences with our readers. The articles we publish must have a takeaway for our readers and be on topics to do with after the first draft is written–editing, marketing, designing interior and covers, etc.

So, what can you tell our readers that will be helpful to them in their own self-publishing journeys?

Some examples:

  • If you’ve worked with a street team or beta readers, what did you learn from that experience that might be applicable and helpful to other authors?

  • Have you developed the perfect social media marketing plan through trial and error that others might be able to use or modify to help with promoting their own books? If so, tell us about it.

  • What are your ten favorite book promotion sites and why?

  • Where do you go to find reviewers for your books?

  • What resources did you use to figure out who your readers were and where they live on social media?

Everyone’s self-publishing experience is different and every indie author learns something valuable in their journey to publication. What can you share with our readers? Please use our Contact form to let me know of your article ideas.

Hope you enjoy this week’s selection of articles!
