Happy Holidays from The Book Designer

Note: This message is just as accurate today as it was when I first wrote it for the 2012 holidays. Here it is again, updated for today—enjoy.

Happy Holidays!

The holiday season is a time when we reflect on our activities and the many relationships we have with family, friends, colleagues, peers, mentors, staff, and everyone else we relate to throughout the year.

I’m grateful to so many people who help me achieve my own goals; my staff most of all; trusted freelancers; Contributing Writers; guest authors; business partners; and the vendors who supply the software, hardware, and services that make it all happen.

But most of all, I’m grateful to you for reading my blog.

It’s you, the authors, editors, designers, typographers, bloggers, marketing people, and all the other folk who read what I post here, who comment, share, and respond to the educational content that make this blog go.

So let me say to you, wherever you are, reading this now: thank you. I hope you’ve found something that will help you on your way to reaching your own goals, to making your own mark on the world, to building your own business, and that you’ll come back.

Thanks for your time, your attention, and your caring.

And here’s to you reaching your goals in 2016. I’ll be here to help you on your way, and if there’s a particular something holding you back, do let me know. I’ll see if I can help.

All my best to you and your loved ones,

Joel Friedlander

    It’s not a holiday, it’s Christmas.

    Merry Christmas.

PS it’s also not the 4th of July. It’s Independence Day. Big difference.

      Hey John,

Over on your blog it can be “Christmas” all you want. Since I don’t celebrate Christmas, over here it’s Happy Holidays. Thanks for stopping by.

Why?
"Writers change the world one reader at a time. But you can't change the world with a book that's still on your hard drive or in a box under your bed. This blog exists to help you get that book into people's hands."
