Editor’s Note: Since this post was published in 2013, I have removed this offer for interior book design services and replaced it with an entire enterprise that will help you with complete book design and production. I encourage you to find out more here: The Book Makers.

Have you been wondering what to do about producing your next book? If so, this could be good news.

Today you have a new option for getting a professional-quality, beautifully-design book interior done for you at a great price.

Drawing on some of my most successful interior designs, I’ve put together a service that I think will benefit many small, self- and indie publishers: Book Interiors from The Book Designer.

Book Interiors

Getting a Pro-Quality Interior

Right now this service is brand new, and the whole process is explained on our new page here:

(Update: Please check out my complete book design and production service at The Book Makers.)

This service is good for you if:

  • Your book is finished, proofread, and ready to go to layout
  • You want professional-quality typesetting and solid book construction
  • Your book is a novel, memoir, narrative nonfiction, or other straight text book without subheads, charts, tables, footnotes, endnotes, or other non-text elements
  • You don’t want to buy Adobe InDesign and teach yourself book layout and typography

We’re in “Beta” mode to make sure our system is working flawlessly, and later this year we’ll add more designs and expand to include heavily-formatted books, too.

But we’re ready right now to turn your manuscript into a book you can upload right away to your preferred print on demand or offset printer.

I’m very excited to be able to bring you this service, because I’ve been getting requests for interior design for a long time. But time has been short and I haven’t been able to take on many of your projects.

Right now there are 6 designs for you to choose from. Three are the top-selling designs from our Book Design Templates site, where you can get a Microsoft Word template if you want to do your own book. And three are brand new, created just for the Book Interiors service.

Now I hope to be able to help a lot more people get great-looking, well-constructed books for print on demand or offset printing, and we’ll also convert your book for ebooks, too.

So please spread the work and take a look at the page that describes the program. Here’s that link again:

And if you have any questions let me know in the comments.
